ADELEKE UNIVERSITY WARNS PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS AGAINST ADMISSION SCAMMERS

Adeleke University, Ede, Osun State, has warned prospective undergraduate and JUPEB applicants against individuals collecting money from admission seekers under the guise of helping them secure admission into the university.

The warning follows reports received by the university about individuals demanding money from prospective students while claiming they could assist them in securing admission into Adeleke University.

According to the institution, Adeleke University does not sell admission and does not process undergraduate or JUPEB admissions through agents, middlemen, WhatsApp groups or individuals claiming to have special access or connections within the university.

The university stressed that anyone asking prospective students to make personal payments or promising to “help secure a spot” is not representing Adeleke University.

USE ONLY OFFICIAL ADMISSION PLATFORMS

Prospective students have been advised to use only the university's official platforms for all admission-related activities.

The university warned applicants that anything outside these official platforms should not be regarded as an official Adeleke University admission channel.

DO NOT PAY INTO PERSONAL ACCOUNTS

Adeleke University further advised prospective students to ensure that all admission-related payments are made only into the university's official account.

Applicants were specifically warned not to pay money into any personal bank account or to anyone claiming that they can “process,” “sort out” or guarantee their admission.

Prospective students are therefore encouraged to be cautious and verify any admission information directly through the university's official platforms before making payments or providing personal information.

ADMISSION SEEKERS SHOULD BE VIGILANT

Prospective undergraduate and JUPEB applicants should remain vigilant throughout the admission process and avoid individuals who request unofficial payments in exchange for admission assistance.

Applicants who have questions about the admission process should contact Adeleke University through its official channels rather than relying on unofficial agents, social media groups or individuals.
