The Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) cordially invites you to the 11th Inaugural Lecture in the 2025/2026 Academic Session.
The lecture is titled: “Environmental Noise Pollution: Sources, Impacts and Control; The Science of Sound and Silence.”
The inaugural lecture will be delivered by Professor Aniefiok Otu Akpan, Professor of Environmental Acoustics, Akwa Ibom State University.
The event is scheduled to hold on Thursday, 27th August 2026, at 2:00 p.m.
Venue: Tetfund Conference Center, Main Campus, Ikot Akpaden, Mkpat Enin LGA.
The lecture will be chaired by Professor Otoabasi Etim Akpan, OON, FSHN, the Vice-Chancellor, Akwa Ibom State University.
