AMBROSE ALLI UNIVERSITY WARNS STUDENTS AGAINST FAKE N35,100 KOFA UPGRADE PAYMENT BULLETIN

The Management of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma (AAU), has warned students and members of the university community against a fake “School Bulletin” circulating on social media and other platforms, directing students to pay N35,100 for an alleged KOFA Upgrade.

The university said its attention was drawn to the purported bulletin and has categorically stated that the document is fake and did not emanate from Ambrose Alli University.

According to the Management, the university neither authorised nor issued any directive requesting students to make the said payment for a KOFA upgrade.

FAKE BANK ACCOUNT IDENTIFIED

The university further revealed that the Zenith Bank account contained in the fraudulent bulletin, bearing the name IRIABHOLO JULIET, is a personal account and has no connection whatsoever with Ambrose Alli University.

Management reiterated that the university will never direct students to make official payments into private or personal bank accounts.

Students are therefore advised to disregard the fake bulletin completely and refrain from making any payment in connection with the purported KOFA upgrade.

STUDENTS ADVISED TO VERIFY PAYMENT INFORMATION

Ambrose Alli University urged students, members of the university community and the general public to exercise caution whenever they receive payment-related information claiming to be from the institution.

Students are advised to always verify such information through the university's official communication channels before making any payment or taking further action.

The university also stated that it will continue to take appropriate steps to protect its students and the general public from fraudulent activities carried out in its name.

• The purported N35,100 KOFA Upgrade bulletin is fake.
• Ambrose Alli University did not authorise the payment.
• Students should not pay the N35,100 demanded in the fake bulletin.
• The Zenith Bank account bearing the name IRIABHOLO JULIET is a personal account and is not connected to the university.
• All payment-related information should be verified through official university channels.
