The Bayelsa Medical University (BMU) has officially commenced its admission screening exercise for prospective undergraduate students for the 2026/2027 academic session. Applications are invited from suitably qualified Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (D.E.) candidates.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the screening exercise, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- UTME Candidates: Must have written the 2026/2027 JAMB UTME exams and scored above 150.
- D.E. Candidates: Must have picked the Direct Entry form and possess at least two (2) A'Level credits, ND/HND (Upper Credit), NCE (Credit), or a relevant degree.
- O'Level Requirements: Candidates must possess 5 O'level credits (including English, Math, Physics, Chemistry & Biology) in not more than two (2) sittings.
Note: MBBS requires 5 credits in 1 sitting only. - Institution Preference: Candidates must have selected, or be willing to select, BMU as their first choice.

- 2026 JAMB Result Slip / Direct Entry slip

- Birth Certificate or Age Declaration
- Local Government Identification/Cert.
