BSU Begins Sale of Part-Time Admission Forms for 2025/2026 Academic Session
Applications are now officially open for admission into the Undergraduate Part-Time Programmes of the Centre for Continuing Education (CCE), Rev. Fr. Moses Orshio Adasu University for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.
The university management invited suitably qualified candidates to apply for various academic and professional programmes designed to provide flexible learning opportunities for working-class individuals, professionals, and other interested applicants seeking to further their education on a part-time basis.
The admission exercise covers undergraduate degree programmes as well as several professional and certificate courses in security, forensic studies, peace, reconciliation, and intelligence management.
Available Part-Time Degree Programmes
The Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) will offer admission into the following undergraduate part-time programmes:
- B.A. French
- B.A. Linguistics
- B.A. Philosophy
- B.A. Religious Studies
- B.Sc. Public Administration
These programmes are structured to accommodate candidates who may not be able to participate in full-time academic studies due to work schedules or other commitments.
Mode of Application for Part-Time Degree Programmes
Interested candidates are expected to process their applications online through the official university portal using their JAMB Registration Number.
Applicants who do not possess a JAMB Registration Number can still apply using their National Identification Number (NIN).
After successfully processing their admission on the JAMB portal, candidates are required to pay a non-refundable Admission Processing Fee of ₦10,000 through the University REMITA platform.
Upon completion of payment, applicants are to proceed to the Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) for further screening and directives regarding the admission process.
Entry Requirements for Degree Programmes
100 Level Admission
Candidates seeking admission into 100 Level must possess:
- A minimum of five (5) O’Level credit passes in relevant subjects
- English Language and Mathematics must be included among the credits
200 Level Direct Entry Admission
Applicants seeking admission directly into 200 Level must possess:
- IJMB qualification
- National Diploma (ND)
- Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE)
In addition to the required O’Level credits including English Language and Mathematics.
Proficiency Certificate Course in Security and Forensic Studies
The university also announced admission into its *Proficiency Certificate Course (PCC)* in Security and Forensic Studies.
This programme is designed for individuals interested in developing practical and theoretical knowledge in security operations, forensic investigation, and intelligence gathering.
Application Procedure for PCC
Candidates are to obtain and process application forms directly at the Centre for Continuing Education (CCE).
The application form costs ₦10,000 only.
Entry Requirements for PCC
Applicants must possess:
- At least four (4) credit passes in SSCE, WAEC, Trade Test, or NABTEB examinations
Serving Military and Paramilitary Officers with the required qualifications are also eligible to apply for the programme.
Duration of PCC Programme
The programme runs on a part-time basis for a duration of *two semesters (6 months)*.
Basic Certificate Course in Intelligence and Detective Studies
Admission is also ongoing for the *Basic Certificate Course (BCC)* which offers training in Basic Intelligence and Detective Studies.
The programme focuses on intelligence gathering, surveillance, investigation techniques, and crime detection strategies.
Application Procedure for BCC
Interested applicants are expected to obtain and process application forms at the Centre for Continuing Education (CCE).
Application forms cost ₦10,000 only.
Entry Requirements for BCC
Applicants must possess any of the following qualifications:
- OND
- NCE
- HND
- Bachelor’s Degree
Possession of higher qualifications in any discipline serves as an added advantage.
Military and paramilitary personnel with the necessary qualifications are equally eligible for admission.

The programme runs on a part-time basis for *two semesters (6 months)*.
Advanced Professional Course in Security and Forensic Studies
The university further announced admission into its Advanced Professional Course in Security and Forensic Studies.
The programme offers specialized options in different areas of forensic and security studies aimed at professionals and individuals seeking advanced expertise in security management and investigations.

- Medical Forensic Studies
- Investigation/Intelligence Forensic Studies

Membership or fellowship of recognized professional bodies is considered an added advantage.
