According to a notice dated October 25, 2026, the exercise is compulsory for all affected candidates, who are expected to complete the process before the deadline set by the university.

COOU Change of Course Deadline

The university has instructed candidates to complete their change of course on the JAMB portal on or before 12:00 noon on Wednesday, October 28, 2026.

Candidates are advised to treat the directive as urgent and ensure that their JAMB profiles reflect the required course change within the approved timeframe.

What Candidates Should Do

All candidates who purchased the COOU supplementary admission form should take the following steps:

  1. Log in to their JAMB profile through the official JAMB e-Facility portal.
    1. Follow the available procedure to apply for a change of course to the appropriate programme.
    2. Ensure the process is completed before the stated deadline.
    3. Keep evidence of the transaction for future reference.

Candidates who are unsure about the appropriate course to select should confirm the details with the university before completing the change.

Consequences of Missing the Deadline

COOU has warned that failure to complete the required change of course before the deadline could lead to admission-related complications.

Affected candidates are therefore encouraged to comply promptly to avoid jeopardising their admission prospects.
