DENNIS OSADEBAY UNIVERSITY WARNS NEWLY ADMITTED STUDENTS TO ACCEPT ADMISSION ON JAMB CAPS

Dennis Osadebay University (DOU), Asaba, Delta State, has advised all newly admitted candidates for the 2026/2027 Academic Session to promptly accept their admission offers through the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (JAMB CAPS).

The university gave the directive in a notice to all newly admitted candidates, urging them to complete the required admission processes within the stipulated periods to avoid losing their admission.

TWO-WEEK DEADLINE FOR JAMB CAPS ACCEPTANCE

According to the university, newly admitted candidates are required to accept their admission offers on JAMB CAPS within two (2) weeks from the date the admission offer is made.

The institution warned that failure to accept the admission offer within the specified period may result in the forfeiture of the admission offer.

Candidates are therefore advised not to wait until the deadline before taking action.

ACCEPTANCE FEE PAYMENT

Candidates who have accepted their admission offers on JAMB CAPS are required to pay the prescribed Acceptance Fee and applicable sundry charges within one (1) week of accepting the admission offer.

The university advised candidates to ensure that all required payments are made promptly through the appropriate channels.

WARNING AGAINST FRAUDSTERS

Dennis Osadebay University also cautioned candidates, parents and guardians against fraudsters who may attempt to collect money by claiming to represent the university.

The institution stated that Acceptance Fee and other payments should only be made through the University's approved payment channels.

Candidates and their sponsors were strongly advised not to make payments into unauthorised accounts or to individuals claiming to act on behalf of the university.
