Operating under the guiding motto of "...Knowledge, Skill and Innovation...", the institution invites applications from candidates who sat for the 2026 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) exam and are currently seeking admission into premier technology, engineering, environmental, and management programmes.
To support its student population, the university highlights an alternative fees payment pathway through the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) for all eligible students, ensuring financial constraints do not stand in the way of academic success.

Admission Eligibility Requirements
Candidates looking to secure a spot at the institution must satisfy the following criteria:
JAMB Exam: Applicants must have sat for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Institutional Cut-off Mark: A universal cut-off mark of 150 is required for all available courses.
Method of Application
Prospective students are directed to register using the two-tier application process;
JAMB Portal Update: Log onto the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) and complete a change of institution, making Ebonyi State University of ICT, Science and Technology Oferekpe your first choice.
Post-UTME Registration: Once the change is completed, visit the official university portal at www.uicto.edu.ng to apply for the Post-UTME Screening Exercise.
Important Notice to All Admission Candidates
Admission Acceptance Window: All successful candidates are strictly cautioned to accept their admission offer on the JAMB portal within two (2) weeks from the date it is offered.
Failure to accept within this period results in automatic denial of the admission by JAMB.
