The Management of Emmanuel Alayande University of Education, Oyo, has announced that the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) loan application exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session is ongoing.
In a notice to the university community, the management disclosed that as of October 15, 2026, more than 5,000 students had submitted applications, including 2,088 students who applied before the university officially commenced its application process.
The management also provided important guidelines for students experiencing discrepancies in their institutional fees and those who have lost access to the email addresses linked to their NELFUND profiles.
1. Correction of Institutional Fees
The university's NELFUND Desk Office is working with the relevant authorities and agencies to resolve discrepancies in institutional fees displayed in students' loan applications.
Students affected by these discrepancies are advised to remain calm and patient while the issues are being addressed.
2. Advisory to Students Affected by Fee Discrepancies
Students whose institutional fees are incorrectly reflected in their applications are advised not to take further action for now.
In particular, the management has warned students not to use the newly introduced “Dispute Fee” feature at this time, as doing so may prolong the resolution process.
Further instructions will be communicated when necessary.
3. Students Who Have Lost Access to Their Registered Email Addresses
Students who can no longer access the email addresses linked to their NELFUND profiles should send an email to clientsupport@nelf.gov.ng requesting an update to their registered email addresses.
The email must contain the following information:
