FEDERAL UNIVERSITY DUTSE (FUDUTSE) RELEASES 2026/2027 ACADEMIC CALENDAR
The Federal University Dutse (FUDUTSE), Jigawa State, has released its academic calendar for the 2026/2027 academic session, outlining key dates for registration, lectures, matriculation, examinations, semester breaks and other academic activities.
The calendar was published in the university’s Official Weekly Newsletter and signed by the Registrar and Secretary to Senate, Abubakar Mijinyawa.
According to the released schedule, registration for new and returning students will commence on Monday, October 19, 2026, while first-semester lectures are scheduled to begin on Monday, November 2, 2026.

Students are advised to complete their registration within the stipulated period to avoid the additional late-registration process.

Summer Programme During Semester Breaks
According to the university, four weeks of the six-week inter-semester break and four weeks of the end-of-session break will be used for the summer programme.
Students should therefore take this arrangement into account when planning their academic activities and holidays.
