The management of the Federal University, Gashua (FUGA) wishes to inform all prospective candidates that the online screening exercise for admission into its degree programmes for the 2025/2026 Academic Session will officially commence on Wednesday, 27th August 2025 and close on Sunday, 28th September 2025.

Eligibility Criteria
UTME Candidates
Must have chosen Federal University, Gashua as their first choice.
General cut-off mark is 150.
Specific programmes:
Biochemistry, Computer Science, Microbiology – 170
Biology – 160
Direct Entry Candidates
Must have chosen Federal University, Gashua as first choice.
Acceptable qualifications include:
Distinction, Credit, or Merit in NCE
IJMB – 6 points and above
ND – Upper Credit and above
HND – Lower Credit and above

Registration Fee
All candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000) only to complete the online registration.

How to Register
Candidates should follow these steps carefully:
Visit the Federal University Gashua application portal.
Click on Register to create an account.
Provide the following details: JAMB number, first name, surname, entry mode (UTME/DE), email address (as username), and a strong password.
Confirm your email to proceed to the payment page.
Choose a payment method:
Bank Payment: Print invoice (RRR) and pay at the bank.
ATM/Card Payment: Pay online using MasterCard, Verve, etc. Enter phone number, card details, and OTP for confirmation.
After payment, log back in with your email/JAMB number and password.
Complete your registration by filling out the following sections:
Course selection – UTME choices, subject combination, UTME score.
Biodata form – Personal details, recent passport photograph.
O’level results – Minimum of five credits including English and Mathematics (max. two sittings).
Previous institutions & qualifications – For Direct Entry applicants.
Upload scanned documents – Certificates, results, and other credentials.
Submit your application. A confirmation message will appear:
“Application Submitted Successfully, It Cannot Be Altered. Thanks.”
