NNAMDI AZIKIWE UNIVERSITY RELEASES 2026/2027 SUPPLEMENTARY ADMISSION FORM

Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, has announced the commencement of applications for supplementary admission into various undergraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.

The exercise is open to prospective UTME candidates who successfully registered for the Post-UTME screening and are willing to study any of the listed programmes.

The application exercise will commence on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, and close on Sunday, September 27, 2026.

ELIGIBILITY

The exercise is strictly for candidates who:

• Successfully registered for the 2026/2027 Post-UTME screening.
• Have not already been admitted into any department at the University.
• Are willing to study any of the available programmes.

Candidates should note that intra-university transfer can only be possible after two years of study.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Candidates who have successfully applied for supplementary admission should:

• Regularly check the Transfer Approval panel on JAMB CAPS.
• Accept the transfer offer promptly once it is posted.
• Ensure that their O’Level results are properly uploaded to JAMB CAPS.
• Carefully select their preferred programmes, as transfer may only be possible after two years.

Candidates who have already been admitted into any department at the University are not eligible for the exercise.

HOW TO APPLY

1. Visit the UNIZIK applicant portal.
   1. Log in to your profile.
   2. Click the “Supplementary Admission” card on your dashboard.
   3. If you have not purchased the Post-UTME form, add your O’Level results and purchase the form first.
   4. Browse the available programmes and select up to three programmes.
   5. Only one selected programme can be a professional course.
   6. Click “Continue”, review the total and confirm your reservation.
   7. Make payment and check your selected programmes under “My Programs.”
   8. Regularly check JAMB CAPS to accept your transfer offer.

APPLICATION DEADLINE

The supplementary admission application closes on Sunday, September 27, 2026.

Candidates are advised to complete the process within the stated period, as each active user has a limited time to complete the application.
