The management of the University of Delta (UNIDEL), Agbor, has officially invited interested and suitably qualified candidates to apply for its Post-UTME screening exercise for admission into various undergraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.
According to an official statement signed by the University Registrar, Dr. (Mrs.) Esther I. Akpojuvie, the online registration portal opens on 25th May 2026 and will close on 15th June 2026.
Admission Eligibility & Requirements
Candidates looking to secure admission into UNIDEL must satisfy the following critical criteria:
JAMB Cut-off Marks:
Minimum of 230: Required for Medicine (MBBS), Nursing Science, Medical Laboratory Science, and Law (LLB).
Minimum of 150: Required for all other courses across the institution's faculties.
O'Level Requirements: Candidates must possess at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects in the SSCE, NECO, or GCE O/L examinations obtained at not more than two sittings.
Age Limit: In strict compliance with JAMB policy, candidates must be 16 years of age or older by 30th September 2026.
Direct Entry (DE) Candidates: Must possess recognized diplomas or degrees quality-assured by the NUC, NBTE, or NCCE.
Candidates must have chosen UNIDEL as their first choice or successfully completed a JAMB change of institution to UNIDEL.
Note: There will be no Direct Entry consideration for Medicine and Surgery, Nursing Sciences, or Medical Laboratory Sciences.
Step-by-Step Registration Guide
The screening application fee is Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) only. Eligible candidates must follow the registration steps below:
Phase 1: Account Creation
Visit the UNIDEL portal at: APPLICATION PORTAL
Click on 'Register for application' at the top left of the page to proceed.
Enter your SURNAME exactly as written on your JAMB UTME Registration Slip, your JAMB UTME Registration Number, and an active e-mail address.
Click "Send credentials to e-mail address." Your unique Application ID and Password will be sent immediately to your inbox.
Open the confirmation email from KOFA, click the verification link, and sign in on the newly displayed login screen.
Click 'Edit application record' and provide all required personal and academic information.
Phase 2: Payment (Interswitch Transfer Only)
Go to the LOGIN PAGE
Enter your username and the password received in your email.
Click on 'Edit application record' and navigate to the bottom of the page to click 'Add online payment ticket'.
Click on the generated Payment ID of the ticket, then select 'CollegePay' at the top of the page.
Review your information on the confirmation page. If correct, click 'Submit' to proceed to the Interswitch gateway.
Select the TRANSFER option.
Once the payment is successfully validated, click 'Submit' and print out your completed application slip.
Application Deadline and Support
The official online application portal will close on 15th June 2026. The exact date for the Post-UTME screening exam will be communicated later via the university's official website.
