UNIVERSITY OF MAIDUGURI RELEASES 2026/2027 ADMISSION LIST ON JAMB CAPS

The University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) has released its 2026/2027 provisional admission list for candidates who participated in the university’s admission screening exercise.

The list of successful candidates has been uploaded online through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admission Processing System (CAPS). Candidates are advised to check their admission status and take the necessary steps if they have been offered admission.

HOW TO CHECK UNIMAID 2026/2027 ADMISSION STATUS ON JAMB CAPS

Candidates can check their admission status by following the steps below:

1. Visit the JAMB e-Facility portal.
   1. Log in using your registered email address and password.
   2. Click on “Check Admission Status.”
   3. Select “Access my CAPS.”
   4. Click on “Admission Status” to view your admission status.

WHAT TO DO IF YOU HAVE BEEN OFFERED ADMISSION

Candidates who have been offered admission are required to indicate their decision by accepting or rejecting the admission offer.

To do this, candidates should send ACCEPT or REJECT to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number registered with their JAMB profile.

Candidates are advised to carefully consider their admission status before taking the appropriate action.

IF YOUR STATUS SHOWS “ADMISSION STILL IN PROGRESS” OR “NOT ADMITTED”

Candidates whose admission status currently shows “Admission Still in Progress” or “Not Admitted” should not panic.

They are advised to keep checking their JAMB CAPS regularly, as the admission status may be updated at any time.
