The normal registration extension period begins on Monday, February 2, 2026, and is scheduled to end on Saturday, February 7, 2026. Students who complete their registration during this first window will not be subject to any additional financial penalties.
A late registration phase will follow for those who miss the extension deadline. This final window opens on Monday, February 9, and runs through Saturday, February 14, 2026. Any student registering during this specific late phase will be required to pay a mandatory late registration penalty of ₦5,000.
Mandatory Portal Closure and Consequences
The Office of the Registrar has issued a firm warning regarding the finality of these dates. The registration portal for the 2025/2026 academic session will be permanently closed on Saturday, February 14, 2026. Following this absolute deadline, the university will not entertain further payments or registration requests.
