AIR FORCE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY RELEASES 2026/2027 ADMISSION LIST, CANDIDATES CAN CHECK VIA JAMB CAPS
The Air Force Institute of Technology, Kaduna (AFIT) admission list for the 2026/2027 academic session has been released.
Candidates who participated in the institute's 2026/2027 admission screening exercise can now proceed to check their admission status to determine whether they have been offered provisional admission.
The list of admitted candidates has been uploaded through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
HOW TO CHECK AIR FORCE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY ADMISSION STATUS
Candidates are advised to follow the steps below to check their admission status:
- Visit the JAMB e-Facility portal at https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/.
- Log in using the email address and password linked to your JAMB profile.
- Click on “Check Admission Status.”
- Select “Access my CAPS.”
- Click on “Admission Status” to view your admission status.
Candidates who have been offered admission will see a congratulatory message together with their photograph and admission details.
Candidates whose admission has not yet been offered may see the message:
“Sorry, No Admission has been Given Yet.”
HOW TO ACCEPT OR REJECT THE ADMISSION
Candidates who have been offered admission can proceed to either accept or reject the offer.
To do this, send ACCEPT or REJECT as an SMS to 55019 or 66019, using the specific phone number linked to the candidate's JAMB profile.
Candidates have four weeks to accept their admission offer.
Those who no longer have access to the phone number registered with JAMB are advised to visit a JAMB-accredited centre to complete the acceptance or rejection process.
PRINT YOUR JAMB ADMISSION LETTER
Candidates who have accepted their admission are advised to print their JAMB admission letter.
The admission letter may be required during the clearance and registration process at the Air Force Institute of Technology, Kaduna.
Candidates should therefore keep the document safely and follow any additional instructions issued by the institute.
NOTE FOR CANDIDATES USING MOBILE PHONES
Candidates checking their admission status using a mobile phone may not see the complete JAMB CAPS interface.
If the Admission Status option is not displayed, candidates using Google Chrome should select “Request Desktop Site” from the browser menu.
After enabling the desktop version, candidates should refresh the page and access the complete CAPS interface.
