COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURE, SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY, LAFIA RELEASES POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION
The College of Agriculture, Science and Technology, Lafia, Nasarawa State has officially commenced the sale of admission forms for its Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) Programmes for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.
Available Courses
The institution offers several specialized fields of study at the postgraduate diploma level. The available programmes are as follows:
i. Agricultural Economics
ii. Agricultural Extension and Communication
iii. Agronomy with option in Crop Protection
iv. Agronomy with option in Crop Science
v. Agronomy with option in Soil and Water Management
vi. Animal Science
vii. Aquaculture and Fisheries Management
viii. Home Science and Management.
Eligibility
The following categories of candidates may qualify for admission into the Postgraduate Diploma programmes:
a. Candidates must possess five (5) 'O' level credits, including Mathematics, English Language, Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry, and Physics, obtained in not more than two sittings.
b. Graduates from recognized Universities who hold at least a 3rd class degree in relevant fields.
c. Holders of a Higher National Diploma (HND) with at least an upper credit from a recognized institution in Agriculture or related disciplines may be considered.
d. HND holders with a lower credit who possess relevant post-qualification experience.
e. Holders of other academic or professional qualifications which may be deemed acceptable by the College Academic Board.

Prospective students are required to complete their registration via the online institutional portal:

Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of N20,000.00 only.

Portal Opening Date: The registration portal officially opened for applicants on the 8th June, 2026.
Closing Date: The portal will close for all admissions on the 30th September, 2026.
