COLLEGE OF NURSING SCIENCES, MAIDUGURI ANNOUNCES POST-UTME ADMISSION FORMS FOR 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION
The College of Nursing Sciences, Maiduguri, has officially announced the commencement of the sale of admission forms for its 2026/2027 academic session. The institution is inviting suitably qualified candidates to apply for admission into its National Diploma (ND) Nursing and Community Nursing programmes.
According to the college management, the sale of admission forms begins on Monday, June 8, 2026, and interested applicants are encouraged to complete their registration within the stipulated period.
Available Programmes
The admission exercise covers the following programmes:
National Diploma (ND) Nursing
Candidates seeking admission into the National Diploma Nursing programme must have obtained a minimum JAMB score of 170 and above in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Community Nursing Programme
Applicants for the Community Nursing Programme must possess a minimum JAMB score of 150 and above.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for admission, candidates must have selected the College of Nursing Sciences, Maiduguri, as their first-choice institution during the 2026 UTME registration.
Applicants must also possess at least five credit passes in the following subjects:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology
The required credits must be obtained in not more than two sittings.
Acceptable examination combinations include:

- WAEC and NECO
- NECO and NECO
- NABTEB and NABTEB
- National Board for Arabic and Islamic Studies (NBAIS)
