The College of Nursing Sciences, Umulogho Obowo, Imo State, has announced the date for its 43rd Matriculation and Capping Ceremony, with the event also featuring the dedication of the institution’s new chaplaincy.

The ceremony is scheduled to bring together students, staff, management, invited guests and members of the public to mark the matriculation and capping of the College’s students.

CEREMONY DETAILS

The event will take place as follows:

Date: Saturday, September 26, 2026

Time: 11:00 AM prompt

Venue: College of Nursing Sciences, Umulogho Obowo, Imo State

The ceremony will include the formal matriculation and capping of students, alongside the dedication of the College’s newly established chaplaincy.

DIGNITARIES EXPECTED

The event will be graced by His Lordship, Most Rev. Solomon A. Amatu, Bishop of Okiwe Diocese, alongside Rev. Fr. Dr. Vincent Chukwuma Onwuka, Administrator, and Mrs. Okorie Comfort, Acting Provost.

Their presence is expected to add significance to the occasion as the College formally welcomes and celebrates its students.

INVITATION TO THE PUBLIC

The College of Nursing Sciences, Umulogho Obowo has invited members of the public, students, staff and other invited guests to attend the ceremony.

The College community will use the occasion to celebrate the students’ academic progress while also dedicating its new chaplaincy.

All invited guests are encouraged to be present as the institution hosts its 43rd Matriculation and Capping Ceremony on Saturday, September 26, 2026.
