CONFLUENCE UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, OSARA ADJUSTS 2026/2027 RESUMPTION DATES

The Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara, has announced an adjustment to the resumption dates for fresh and returning students for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The revised schedule was contained in a circular dated September 25, 2026, and signed by the Registrar and Secretary to Council, Mrs. Glory Ojochogu Yakubu.

According to the university, the adjustment became necessary due to unforeseen technical glitches and logistical challenges. The change is intended to allow the institution to complete the necessary administrative preparations for the new academic session.

NEW RESUMPTION DATE FOR FRESH STUDENTS

Under the revised arrangement, newly admitted students comprising 100 Level and Direct Entry students will now resume on:

Monday, October 12, 2026

This replaces the earlier resumption date of September 28, 2026.

Fresh students are expected to commence their necessary admission and registration processes upon arrival on campus.

RETURNING STUDENTS TO RESUME OCTOBER 19

Returning students from 200 Level and above are now scheduled to resume on:

Monday, October 19, 2026

This represents an extension of three weeks from the previously announced resumption date.

Returning students are advised to make the necessary preparations ahead of the revised date.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE EXTENDED

CUSTECH has also announced a revised registration schedule for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The regular registration period will now close on:

Friday, November 13, 2026

Students who are unable to complete their registration within the regular period can take advantage of the late registration window.

LATE REGISTRATION

Date: Saturday, November 14 – Monday, November 23, 2026

Students registering during the late registration period will be required to pay the statutory ₦10,000 late registration fee.

Students are encouraged to complete their registration within the regular period to avoid additional charges.

INSTRUCTIONS TO FRESH STUDENTS

The university advised fresh students to begin their admission and registration processes immediately upon resumption.

These activities include:

• Screening
• Physical documentation
• Online course registration

Fresh students are therefore expected to have their relevant documents ready before reporting to the university.

INSTRUCTIONS TO RETURNING STUDENTS

Returning students are permitted to continue with some registration activities before physically returning to campus.

The university advised returning students to proceed with:

• School fee payment
• Course registration through the online portal

Students should ensure that these processes are completed within the stipulated registration period.

SUPPLEMENTARY ACADEMIC CALENDAR TO BE RELEASED

CUSTECH further announced that a supplementary academic calendar will be issued by the Academic Planning Unit.

The supplementary calendar will contain the new date for the matriculation ceremony as well as the revised academic workload resulting from the adjustment.

Students are advised to look out for further official announcements from the university concerning the supplementary calendar.

CUSTECH MANAGEMENT ADDRESSES STUDENTS

The University Management expressed regret over any inconvenience that the adjustment in the academic calendar may cause students and other members of the university community.

Management also wished students safe journeys back to campus as they prepare to resume for the new academic session.
