EKITI STATE UNIVERSITY (EKSU) COMMENCES 2026/2027 POST-UTME & DIRECT ENTRY SCREENING EXERCISE

Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado-Ekiti, has officially commenced the sale of its 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) Screening Forms for qualified candidates seeking admission into the institution's undergraduate programmes.

The university announced that online registration for the screening exercise will begin on Friday, 3rd July, 2026. Prospective applicants should note that there will be no written Post-UTME examination, as admission will be based on the online screening of candidates' academic credentials and submitted documents.

ELIGIBILITY

The screening exercise is open to:

  • Candidates who selected Ekiti State University (EKSU) as their first-choice institution in the 2026 UTME.
  • Candidates who scored 150 and above in the 2026 UTME but did not initially choose EKSU as their first choice and are willing to change to EKSU through the JAMB Change of Institution process.
  • Direct Entry (DE) candidates seeking admission into EKSU.

Note: Candidates awaiting the release of their O'Level results are not eligible to apply until their results become available.

MINIMUM UTME SCORES FOR SELECTED PROGRAMMES

Candidates must meet the minimum UTME score for their intended programme as follows:

Candidates who do not meet the required score for any of the listed programmes are encouraged to apply for other courses for which they are qualified.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must possess:

  • A minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics where applicable.
  • O'Level results obtained in not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.
  • Direct Entry candidates must also satisfy the University's Direct Entry admission requirements for their chosen programme.

HOW TO APPLY

Eligible candidates should complete their application by following these steps:

  1. Visit the EKSU Admission Portal.
  2. Create an account using a valid email address and active phone number.
  3. Log in to complete the online screening application.
  4. Pay the prescribed screening fee through the approved online payment platform.
  5. Upload a recent passport photograph in JPEG format with a red background.
  6. Upload O'Level result(s) (maximum of two sittings).
  7. Carefully review all information provided.
  8. Submit the application and print the screening acknowledgement slip for future reference.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • EKSU accepts JUPEB with a minimum of seven (7) points for Direct Entry admission.
  • Candidates using NECO results are required to complete the prescribed result verification process.
  • Any applicant who submits false information or fails to participate in the online screening exercise will not be considered for admission.
  • Applicants should ensure that all information submitted matches their JAMB records to avoid disqualification.

Prospective candidates are advised to complete their registration early and ensure that all required documents are uploaded correctly before the application deadline. Early registration also provides sufficient time to correct any issues that may arise during the application process.
