This is to inform members of the university community that the management of Emmanuel Alayande University of Education has announced the strengthening of security protocols within the campus in response to recent security concerns within the surrounding neighbourhood.

SECURITY REVIEW MEETING HELD

The university disclosed that a general security meeting was held on Tuesday, 19th May, 2026, involving all campus security personnel. The meeting focused on:

  • Reviewing the current security situation on campus
  • Strengthening preventive measures against possible security breaches
  • Enhancing coordination among security units

DIRECTIVE TO CAMPUS COMMUNITY

Members of the university community have been urged to:

  • Remain vigilant at all times
  • Take security matters seriously
  • Promptly report any suspicious movement or activity
