FEDERAL UNIVERSITY LOKOJA RESCHEDULES 10TH CONVOCATION CEREMONY TO NOVEMBER 2026
The Management of Federal University Lokoja (FUL), Kogi State, through the Office of the Registrar, has announced the rescheduling of the institution's 10th Convocation Ceremony.
According to a circular issued by the university, the adjustment became necessary due to circumstances beyond the management's control, particularly the Kogi State Local Government Elections, which coincide with the initial date scheduled for the convocation.
NEW DATE FOR FEDERAL UNIVERSITY LOKOJA 10TH CONVOCATION
The 10th Convocation Ceremony was initially scheduled to take place from Monday, October 12 to Saturday, October 17, 2026.
Following the rescheduling, the ceremony will now hold from:
Monday, November 9 to Saturday, November 14, 2026
The venue remains the university's Permanent Site, Felele, Lokoja, Kogi State.

MANAGEMENT EXPRESSES REGRET
The University Management expressed regret over any inconvenience the change may cause to graduating students, parents, guardians, invited guests and members of the general public.

DETAILED CONVOCATION PROGRAMME
The university stated that the detailed programme of activities for the Convocation Week will be published and circulated in due course.

The rescheduling is intended to ensure that the convocation activities proceed without a clash with the election and avoid possible administrative disruptions.
