FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY AKURE RELEASES PROPOSED 2026/2027 ACADEMIC CALENDAR
The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) has released the proposed undergraduate academic calendar for the 2026/2027 Academic Session, outlining the schedule of academic activities for both the first and second semesters.
The proposed calendar covers important activities including online and physical registration, arrival of students, commencement of lectures, orientation for fresh students, matriculation, examinations, semester breaks and other academic activities.

FIRST SEMESTER ACTIVITIES
According to the proposed calendar, online registration for undergraduate students is scheduled to commence on Monday, October 19, 2026, while students are expected to arrive on campus from Sunday, October 25, 2026.
Physical registration will commence on Monday, October 26, 2026, while lectures are scheduled to begin on Monday, November 2, 2026.
