FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OTUOKE BEGINS DIRECT ENTRY ADMISSION SCREENING FOR 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

The Federal University Otuoke (FUOTUOKE), Bayelsa State, has commenced its 2026/2027 Direct Entry (DE) Admission Screening Exercise, inviting suitably qualified candidates to apply for admission into its various undergraduate programmes.

Candidates who selected Federal University Otuoke as their first-choice institution during the 2026 JAMB Direct Entry registration are eligible to participate in the screening exercise.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the screening, candidates must:

  • Choose Federal University Otuoke as their first-choice institution in the 2026 JAMB Direct Entry application.
  • Possess any of the following qualifications in relevant disciplines:
    • NCE
    • OND
    • HND
    • First Degree
    • A'Level Certificate
  • Meet the required O'Level admission requirements for their chosen programme.

Candidates who did not initially choose FUOTUOKE but wish to study at the university are advised to process a Change of Institution through the JAMB portal before applying.

Application Fee

Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable screening fee of ₦2,000 using an Interswitch Verve or Mastercard debit card.

Applicants should carefully complete the online registration and provide accurate information.

Required Documents

Candidates are expected to upload the following documents:

  • Passport photograph (JPG format)
  • O'Level result (WAEC, NECO or NABTEB)
  • Local Government Identification Letter
  • Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age
  • NCE/OND/HND/First Degree/A'Level Certificate
  • Academic Transcript

Application Period

  • Application Opens: Friday, 17th July, 2026
  • Application Closes: Monday, 17th August, 2026

The date for the Direct Entry screening exercise will be indicated on each candidate's screening schedule printout after completing the application.

Candidates whose academic qualifications have not been uploaded to JAMB CAPS or who provide false information or incorrect O'Level grades will not be considered for admission.
