FIDEI POLYTECHNIC, GBOKO ADMISSION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

The Management of Fidei Polytechnic, Gboko, officially invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into its various National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.

I. ACCREDITED PROGRAMMES OFFERED

1. School of Engineering & Technology

• ND/HND Options: Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering (Power & Machines/Telecommunications), Science Laboratory Technology (Microbiology/Chemistry/Biochemistry/Physics/Electronics), Fisheries & Aquatic Technology.
• ND Only: Computer Science, Food Technology.
• HND Specialized: Software and Web Development, Cyber Security, Networking, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics.

2. School of Environmental Studies

• ND/HND Options: Building Technology, Quantity Surveying, Estate Management & Valuation.

3. School of Management & Business Studies

• ND/HND Options: Accountancy, Business Administration & Management, Office Technology & Management, Public Administration.
• ND Only: Banking & Finance, Mass Communication, Law, Human Resources Management.
• HND Specialized: Strategic Communication and Media Studies, Journalism and Media Studies.

II. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

A. UTME Candidates

• JAMB Score: Must have scored 100 and above in the 2026 UTME.
• O' Level: Five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects (including English and Mathematics) in not more than two sittings.
• Awaiting Result: Candidates awaiting SSCE results are eligible to apply.
• Action Required: Candidates who did not choose Fidei Polytechnic as their first choice must visit a JAMB CBT center to perform a "Change of Institution."

*B. Direct Entry (HND) Programmes*

• Duration: 2 Years.
• Academic Requirement: Must hold a National Diploma (ND) or National Innovative Diploma (NID) with at least Lower Credit from an accredited institution.
• *Industrial Training (IT):* Minimum of one (1) year cognate experience.
• Special Provision: Candidates with a Pass (CGPA of 2.0 – 2.49) may apply if they have at least two (2) years of cognate experience.

IV. SUBMISSION OF DIRECT ENTRY FORMS

All DE applicants must submit their forms personally at the Polytechnic Campus to facilitate the upload of details to the NBTE HND Admission Portal. Please attach two copies of the following:

1. Receipt of purchase of the Admission Form.
   1. Relevant academic qualifications (GCE/O' Level).
   2. Birth Certificate or Statutory Declaration of Age.
   3. Two recent passport-sized photographs.
