FIDEI POLYTECHNIC, GBOKO ISSUES NOTICE TO STUDENTS ON RESUMPTION OF ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES

The Management of Fidei Polytechnic, Gboko, wishes to inform all staff, students, parents, stakeholders and the general public that, following an emergency meeting of Management held on Friday, 7th August, 2026, it has been resolved that the Polytechnic will reopen for academic activities on Monday, 10th August, 2026.

The Polytechnic was closed on 14th July, 2026 to enable Management undertake necessary infrastructural renovation, repairs and fumigation of the campus and the Girls' Hostels.

Accordingly, academic activities shall resume immediately upon reopening on Monday, 10th August, 2026. All staff and students are therefore directed to resume their normal academic and official duties as scheduled.

Management further wishes to inform all concerned that the Tansian University, Fidei Polytechnic Liaison Centre is also approved to reopen for academic activities. Management is making concerted efforts and is in top gear to address and resolve all issues relating to the recent protest by students of the Centre.

Management appreciates the understanding, patience and cooperation of staff, students, parents, stakeholders and the general public during the period of closure and assures everyone of its continued commitment to the safety, welfare and academic progress of all members of the Polytechnic community.
