FUTES COMMENCES 2026/2027 POST-UTME AND DIRECT ENTRY ADMISSION EXERCISE

The management of the Federal University of Technology and Environmental Sciences, Iyin-Ekiti (FUTES), Ekiti State, has announced the commencement of its admission exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session.

Suitably qualified candidates seeking admission through UTME and Direct Entry are hereby invited to apply for the University's Post-UTME screening exercise.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

UTME Candidates

Candidates are eligible to apply if they:

• Chose FUTES as their First Choice institution in the 2026 UTME.
• Scored a minimum of 160 in the 2026 UTME.
• Possess at least five (5) O'Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings.

Candidates who selected FUTES as a second-choice institution or did not initially choose the University are advised to effect a Change of Institution on the JAMB portal and make FUTES their First Choice before the close of registration.

Direct Entry Candidates

Direct Entry applicants are also required to select FUTES as their First Choice institution before proceeding with registration.

REGISTRATION GUIDELINES

Applicants are advised to:

• Provide a valid and active email address during registration.
• Activate their accounts through the confirmation link sent to their email inbox.
• Check their spam folders if the activation email is not received.
• Note that unactivated accounts will be automatically deleted after 48 hours.
• Carefully complete all required information on the portal.
• Upload a recent passport photograph not exceeding 100KB in size.

Candidates should note that the uploaded passport photograph cannot be changed throughout their stay in the University.

The University emphasizes that applicants will be held responsible for any incorrect or incomplete information supplied during registration.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Interested candidates should visit the University's admission portal: https://portal.futes.edu.ng/apply/

Applicants are advised to carefully read all registration instructions and guidelines before proceeding with their application.

Candidates who have not yet changed their institution to FUTES but intend to do so may register using the "OTHER CHOICE" option on the portal. However, such candidates must complete their Change of Institution to FUTES through JAMB CAPS before the registration deadline.

SCREENING FEES

Applicants are required to pay:

• Post-UTME Screening Fee: ₦2,000
• Portal Access Fee: ₦3,000

Payments should be made through the REMITA platform available on the University's admission portal.

FINAL SCREENING

The University will conduct a final screening of all admitted candidates, after which applicants will be notified of their aggregate scores and admission status.

Prospective students are encouraged to complete their registration early and ensure all required documents and information are submitted correctly to avoid disqualification.
