IBRAHIM BADAMASI BABANGIDA UNIVERSITY, LAPAI (IBBUL) ISSUES NOTICE TO STUDENTS ON EXTENSION OF FYB WEEK ACTIVITIES

This is to inform all students of the Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, LAPAI (IBBUL) that following the numerous appeals and concerns received from Faculty and Departmental Association leaders regarding the earlier scheduled period for FYB Week activities, the leadership of the Students’ Union Government (SUG) engaged the University Management and passionately appealed for an extension of the approved dates.

We are pleased to inform the entire student community that the appeal was favourably considered and approved by the University Management.

Consequently, all Faculty and Departmental Associations are hereby informed that they should conduct their FYB Week activities between Monday, 17th August and Friday, 21st August, 2026.

All concerned associations are advised to make adequate preparations and ensure that their activities are conducted peacefully, responsibly, and in accordance with the guidelines and regulations of the University.

The Students’ Union Government appreciates the University Management for its understanding and consideration, while also assuring all Faculty and Departmental Associations of its continued commitment to representing and promoting the interests of students.
