KANO STATE POLYTECHNIC ISSUES IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ND SIWES STUDENTS
The Kano State Polytechnic has directed National Diploma (ND) students affected by issues with their SIWES registration details to submit their correct commercial bank account information to their respective departments to enable the payment of their SIWES allowances.
According to an official notice issued by the institution, some students mistakenly provided wallet account details such as OPay, Moniepoint, and PalmPay instead of commercial bank account details while completing SIWES Form 8. The school explained that this could affect the processing of their allowances.
The directive applies to affected students from the 2021/2022, 2022/2023, and 2023/2024 academic sessions whose names appear on the published list.
The institution instructed all concerned students to submit their correct commercial bank account details on or before Wednesday, July 29, 2026, warning that failure to meet the deadline could delay the payment of their SIWES allowances.
Students have also been advised to check the published list to confirm whether their names are included and to comply with the directive promptly.
The notice was signed by Auwal Ismail Bagwai, Head of Public Affairs, on behalf of the Registrar.
