LAGOS STATE COLLEGE OF NURSING, IGANDO RELEASES ND/HND NURSING ADMISSION FORM FOR 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION
The management of Lagos State College of Nursing (LASCON), Igando, Alimosho Local Government Area, Lagos State, has officially commenced the sale of admission forms for its National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) Non-Terminal Nursing Programme for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Suitably qualified candidates are hereby invited to apply for the Computer Assisted Screening (CAS) exercise into the institution’s professional nursing programme designed to train competent healthcare practitioners for Nigeria’s health sector.
The institution, known for producing highly skilled nursing professionals, stated that admission will be strictly based on merit, performance in the Computer-Based Screening exercise, and fulfillment of all admission requirements.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Interested candidates must satisfy the following requirements before applying:
JAMB Requirement
Applicants must:
- Have participated in the 2026 UTME examination
- Score a minimum of 200 and above
- Choose Lagos State College of Nursing, Igando as First Choice Institution during JAMB registration
O’Level Requirements
Candidates must possess:
- Five (5) credit passes in:
* English Language
* Mathematics
* Physics
* Chemistry
* Biology
Results must be obtained in not more than two sittings in WAEC or NECO examinations.
Age Requirement
Applicants must be at least 17 years old before the end of the 2026 admission exercise.
PROGRAMME STRUCTURE
The programme is a 4-year Nursing training programme leading to:
- National Diploma (ND)
- Higher National Diploma (HND)
- RN/RM/RPHN certification
- Mandatory Internship Programme
The training is fully residential.
APPLICATION PERIOD
- Application Opens: Tuesday, 26th May, 2026
- Application Closes: Tuesday, 21st July, 2026
Candidates are strongly advised to complete their registration before the deadline to avoid portal congestion and disqualification.
COMPUTER ASSISTED SCREENING DETAILS
The Computer Assisted Screening (CAS) examination has been scheduled as follows:
- Date: Saturday, 22nd August, 2026
- Time: 8:00 AM Prompt
- Venue: Lagos State College of Nursing, Igando, inside Alimosho General Hospital
The examination will be Computer-Based Testing (CBT).
Questions will cover:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology
- Current Affairs
Only candidates with printed Applicant Information Forms will be allowed into the examination hall.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
Candidates are to carefully follow the steps below:

- Create a new application account using:
* Surname
* First Name
* Course Selection
* Email Address
* Phone Number
* JAMB Registration Number
- A confirmation email containing:
* Admission Number
* Password
* Payment Link
will be sent to the registered email address.
- Proceed to make payment online.
Application Fee
Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of:
₦25,000 only
Payment can be made through available online payment platforms such as Paystack.
- After payment, log in to continue the application and complete:
* Demographic Information
* Address Details
* O’Level Information
* Parent/Guardian Information
* Passport Upload
* Document Upload
- Verify O’Level Result online before proceeding.
- Lock and submit the application form.
- Print out the Applicant Information Form for the screening exercise.
SCHOOL FEES & ACCEPTANCE FEE
The institution also disclosed the approved fees for newly admitted students:
- First Year School Fees: ₦300,000
- Acceptance Fee: ₦100,000 (Non-refundable)
