LAGOS STATE UNIVERSITY (LASU) ANNOUNCES INTRA-UNIVERSITY TRANSFER APPLICATION TIMETABLE FOR 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

The University Senate at its 330th Statutory Meeting held on Thursday, 30th April, 2026, considered and approved the timetable for students’ applications for Intra-University Transfer for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The approval followed the consideration of a report from the Senate Committee on Intra-University Transfer, which emphasized strict compliance with timelines and procedures for all applicants.

IMPORTANT SENATE DECISIONS

• All Intra-University Transfer applications must be submitted online
• Applications must be made within two (2) weeks after approval of results for the preceding academic session
• All transfer processes must be concluded not later than the fifth week of resumption
• Students are required to strictly adhere to the approved timeline

APPROVED APPLICATION TIMETABLE

1. Application Submission by Students

• Duration: Monday, 1st June – Friday, 12th June, 2026

2. Review by Releasing Departments/Faculties

• Duration: Monday, 15th June – Friday, 26th June, 2026

3. Review by Receiving Departments/Faculties

• Duration: Monday, 29th June – Friday, 10th July, 2026

4. Final Consideration by Committee

• Duration: Monday, 13th July – Friday, 17th July, 2026
