The management of Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH) has directed all graduates of the former Lagos State Polytechnic (LASPOTECH) who completed their programmes between 1979 and 2021 but are yet to collect their certificates to visit the university for collection.
The directive covers a three-month period, during which concerned graduates are expected to complete the collection of their certificates before the university reviews the existing certificate collection fee.
CERTIFICATE COLLECTION PERIOD
The certificate collection exercise will run as follows:
- Commencement Date: Thursday, October 1, 2026
- Closing Date: Thursday, December 31, 2026
- Time: 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM
- Duration: Three months
WHERE TO COLLECT THE CERTIFICATE
Concerned graduates are to visit the Examinations and Records Unit of the Registry Department, Lagos State University of Science and Technology, for the collection of their certificates.
IMPORTANT NOTICE ON CERTIFICATE COLLECTION FEE
The university management stated that after the expiration of the three-month collection period, it will undertake an upward and appropriate review of the existing fee for certificate collection.
Graduates who are yet to collect their certificates are therefore advised to take advantage of the stipulated period to avoid possible additional costs after the deadline.
ADVICE TO CONCERNED GRADUATES
All affected graduates are encouraged to make the necessary arrangements and visit the university within the announced period.
The notice applies to graduates of the former Lagos State Polytechnic who completed their programmes between 1979 and 2021 and have not yet collected their certificates.
