LAUTECH EXTENDS POST-UTME SCREENING APPLICATION DEADLINE, ANNOUNCES DIRECT ENTRY INTERVIEW SCHEDULE FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION
The management of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, has announced an extension of the 2026/2027 Post-UTME screening application and released the schedule for the Direct Entry (DE) interview.
According to a notice signed by the Registrar, the extension is intended to provide additional time for prospective candidates to complete their applications.
Post-UTME Application Deadline Extended
The university has extended the deadline for the 2026/2027 Post-UTME screening application to:
- New Deadline: 11:59 p.m., Wednesday, 9th September, 2026
Candidates who are yet to complete their registration are advised to take advantage of the extension and submit their applications before the new closing date.
Important Notice for Awaiting Result Candidates
Candidates who applied with awaiting O'Level results are required to upload their results to the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) on or before:
- Tuesday, 15th September, 2026
Failure to upload the required results within the stipulated period may affect their admission consideration.
Direct Entry Interview Schedule
All Direct Entry (DE) applicants are informed that both the written and oral interviews have been scheduled as follows:
- Dates: Thursday, 10th September and Friday, 11th September, 2026
- Time: 10:00 a.m.
- Venue: The Hall, LAUTECH, Ogbomoso
The university emphasized that attendance at the interview is compulsory.
Failure to Attend
Management warned that any Direct Entry candidate who fails to appear for the interview as scheduled will be automatically disqualified from the admission exercise.
Warning to Applicants
LAUTECH also cautioned candidates against providing false information during the admission process, noting that any candidate found guilty will have their admission withdrawn and may face prosecution.
Applicants were equally advised to beware of fraudsters, stressing that the university will not be responsible for any transaction conducted with unauthorized individuals or admission agents.
