MERCY MEDICAL UNIVERSITY RELEASES FULL 2026/2027 ACADEMIC CALENDAR

Mercy Medical University has officially released its approved academic calendar for the 2026/2027 academic session, outlining the schedule for students across the Harmattan and Rain Semesters.

The calendar contains important dates for the resumption of fresh and returning students, commencement of lectures, orientation, Continuous Assessment Tests, semester examinations, matriculation and other major academic activities.

Students are advised to familiarise themselves with the calendar and plan their academic activities accordingly.

HARMATTAN SEMESTER SCHEDULE

The Harmattan Semester will officially begin with the resumption of fresh students on Monday, September 7, 2026.

Fresh students will commence lectures on Monday, September 14, while returning students will resume on Monday, September 21, 2026 and begin their lectures the following day.

An orientation programme for new students is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, September 23, 2026.

The Continuous Assessment Test for 100 Level students will hold from Monday, October 26 to Friday, October 30, 2026.

Students in 200 Level and above will write their Continuous Assessment Test from Monday, December 7 to Friday, December 11, 2026.

The Harmattan Semester examinations will then commence with the 100 Level students from Monday, December 14 to Friday, December 18, 2026.

For students in 200 Level and above, the examinations are scheduled for Monday, January 4 to Friday, January 15, 2027.

The Harmattan Semester will officially end on Friday, January 15, 2027.
