According to the examination body, the new registration deadline is Tuesday, October 13, 2026, giving prospective candidates additional time to register for the examinations.
The extension was approved by the Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of NABTEB, Dr. Mohammed Aminu Mohammed, in an internal memorandum dated Thursday, October 8, 2026. The memorandum was signed by the Director of Examinations Administration, Chigoziem Susan Metu.
Registration was initially scheduled to close on Thursday, October 8, 2026, but has now been extended to midnight on Tuesday, October 13, 2026.

The extension covers candidates seeking to register for the following examinations:

No Further Extension Expected
The examination body has urged prospective candidates to complete their registration promptly, noting that there may be no further extension beyond Tuesday, October 13, 2026.
