The National Youth Service Corps has released an important update for all foreign-trained Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) preparing for the 2026 Batch B Stream 1 orientation exercise.
According to the official announcement published through the scheme’s verified social media platforms, all foreign-trained PCMs with pending physical verification are strongly advised to urgently complete the necessary verification procedures to avoid disqualification or delays in mobilization.
Verification Instructions for Foreign-Trained PCMs
Affected prospective corps members are expected to complete the following steps immediately:

Log in to the official NYSC portal dashboard using your registered details.
Step 2
Select your preferred physical verification center from the available locations listed on the portal.
Step 3
Print out your physical verification slip, as it will be required during the verification exercise.
The NYSC emphasized that candidates must appear physically at their selected centers with all necessary credentials and supporting documents for authentication and clearance.
Purpose of the Physical Verification
The physical verification exercise is conducted to:
- Confirm the authenticity of foreign academic qualifications
- Verify travel and entry records
