NNAMDI AZIKIWE UNIVERSITY EXTENDS 2026/2027 INTRA-UNIVERSITY TRANSFER APPLICATION DEADLINE

The Management of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka, has announced an extension of the deadline for online applications for intra-university transfers for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The new deadline is Wednesday, September 30, 2026, extending the initial deadline of Friday, September 18, 2026.

The extension applies to undergraduate students seeking to transfer from their current department, faculty, or programme to another within the University.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

The application is online only.

Interested students should follow these steps:

1. Visit the official UNIZIK change-of-course portal:
   UNIZIK Change of Course Portal
2. Log in using your registration number or email address and your portal password. No OTP is required.
3. Check the information displayed on your dashboard, including:

* Current Department
* Faculty
* Level
* CGPA
* GPA for each semester
* O'Level result

Students should correct any inaccurate information before proceeding with the application.

1. Select the Department you wish to transfer to. Students can submit only one application at a time.
2. Clearly state your reason for requesting the change.
3. Make the required payment online through Credo, using a card or bank transfer. The application fee is determined by the department selected.
4. Ensure that your payment is confirmed before submitting the application.

APPLICATION APPROVAL PROCESS

After payment confirmation, the application will pass through the following offices for consideration:

Releasing HOD → Releasing Dean → Accepting HOD → Accepting Dean → Registrar → DVC (Academics) → Vice-Chancellor → Department Changed To

Students can monitor the progress of their applications through the online portal.

If any of the listed offices declines an application, the application process will stop and the reason for the rejection will be displayed on the student's dashboard.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Students are advised to provide accurate information throughout the application process.

The University warned that any application containing false information will be cancelled.
