NORTH-EASTERN UNIVERSITY (NEU), GOMBE: SPECIAL TUITION SCHOLARSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT
The Management of North-Eastern University (NEU), Gombe, through the North-Eastern University Community Development Initiative (NEU-CDI), is pleased to announce the institutionalization of a special scholarship programme.
In a dedicated effort to strengthen human capital and broaden access to quality education, the Founder, Dr. Sani Jauro (Danlawan of Gombe), has approved a 50% tuition fee waiver for students pursuing critical disciplines in Science and Technology.
I. ELIGIBLE PROGRAMMES
The scholarship is specifically available to candidates admitted into the following Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) programmes:
- Petroleum Chemistry
- Environmental Management & Toxicology
- Industrial Chemistry
- Microbiology
- Biotechnology
- Urban & Regional Planning
II. SCHOLARSHIP VALUE & TERMS
- Financial Benefit: A 50% discount on tuition fees.
- Scope: The waiver applies strictly to tuition. It does not cover accommodation or other institutional charges.
- Duration: The scholarship is valid for the entire duration of the programme, subject to the student maintaining the university’s required academic standards.
III. ELIGIBILITY & APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be a Nigerian citizen. (Please note: Foreign candidates are not eligible for this specific intervention).
- Must have secured admission into one of the listed programmes at NEU.
How to Apply:
- Form Collection: Obtain the NEU-CDI application form from the university.
- Documentation: Attach your official NEU or JAMB admission letter.
- Submission: Submit the completed application package at the University Enrolment Office.
