NORTHWEST UNIVERSITY, KANO (NWUK) RELEASES GUIDELINES FOR 2025/2026 FIRST SEMESTER EXAMINATIONS

The Management of Northwest University, Kano (NWUK) has released important guidelines for students ahead of the 2025/2026 Academic Session First Semester Examinations.

According to the University Management, the first semester examinations are scheduled to commence on Monday, 10th August, 2026.

All students are advised to take note of the examination directives and ensure strict compliance throughout the examination period.

Examination Guidelines for Students

The University Management has outlined the following important guidelines for all students participating in the examinations:

1. Prohibition of Mobile Phones and Unauthorised Items

Students are not allowed to take mobile phones, handbags, bags or other unauthorised items into the examination halls.

Students are therefore advised to make adequate arrangements for the safe keeping of such items before entering the examination venue.

Candidates are expected to ensure that they do not come into the examination hall with any item that may violate the University's examination regulations.

2. Students With Infants and Young Children

The University has also directed that students with infants and young children are not permitted to enter the examination halls with them.

To assist students who have young children, the University Management has established a Creche where infants and young children can be safely kept while their parents or guardians participate in the examinations.

Students affected by this directive are advised to make use of the facility during the examination period.

3. University Identification Cards

Students who do not have their University ID Cards have been assured that they should not be worried.

According to the Management, the University Examination Card contains the necessary information required for identification and admission into the examination hall.

Students are therefore advised to ensure that they come along with their Examination Cards whenever they are attending their examinations.

Students Urged to Comply With Examination Rules

The University Management has urged all students to comply strictly with the examination directives and conduct themselves appropriately throughout the examination period.

Students are encouraged to arrive at their examination venues on time and ensure that they have all the required documents before entering the examination halls.

They are also advised to avoid anything that could lead to unnecessary complications or violation of the University's examination regulations.
