The Management of Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic, Zaria, has officially released the academic schedule for the 2025/2026 Academic Session. All new and returning students are advised to take note of the following key dates to ensure proper planning for lectures, holidays, and examinations.
I. LECTURE & MATRICULATION SCHEDULE
The first half of the semester focuses on settling new students and establishing a consistent lecture routine:
- Commencement of 1st & 3rd Semester Lectures: Monday, 4th May – Tuesday, 26th May 2026.
- Matriculation Ceremony (New Students): Wednesday, 10th June 2026.
- Continuation of Lectures (Post-Holiday): Monday, 1st June – Friday, 3rd July 2026.
II. SUMMER ACTIVITIES & 2024/2025 WRAP-UP
For students involved in summer activities or awaiting finalization of the previous session's results, the following dates apply:
- Sales of Summer Activity Forms: Monday, 27th April – Friday, 26th June 2026.
- Summer Revision Period: Monday, 15th June – Friday, 26th June 2026.
- Summer Examinations (2024/2025 Session): Monday, 29th June – Saturday, 4th July 2026.
- Result Considerations (Academic Board): Monday, 22nd June – Friday, 26th June 2026.
III. PUBLIC HOLIDAYS & BREAKS
The institution will observe a brief break for the religious holidays during the month of May:
- Eid El-Kabir Holidays: Wednesday, 27th May – Sunday, 31st May 2026.
* Lectures resume immediately on Monday, 1st June.
