The wait is over! Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, has officially released the registration guidelines for the 2026/2027 Admission Screening Exercise. Signed by the Registrar, K. A. Bakare, this guide breaks down everything you need to know to secure your admission.
Eligibility Criteria
Before applying, ensure you meet these strict automated filters:
- First Choice: You must have chosen OAU as your First Choice university during your 2026 JAMB registration.
- UTME Cut-Off Mark: You must have scored 200 or above in the 2026 UTME.
- Direct Entry: Holders of NCE, ND, HND, IJMB, or JUPEB must also register within this window to clear their data.

- Print Exam Slips: Monday, August 24, 2026

5-Step Registration Guide
Step 1: Visit the Portal
Go to the official admissions website:
https://eportal2.oauife.edu.ng/ug/admissions
Step 2: Verify Your Profile
Click "Verify your Details". Enter your JAMB Registration Number, a valid Email Address, and your Phone Number. Your official name will automatically pop up.
Step 3: Pay the Screening Fee
The mandatory screening fee is Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) only (excluding minor portal bank charges). You can pay via debit card, bank transfer, USSD, or cash at any commercial bank using a printed invoice.
Step 4: Get Your Login Details
Once payment is successful, your unique username and password will be sent to your email.
💡 If delayed, click "Confirm Your Payment" on the portal landing page to instantly fetch your credentials.
Step 5: Fill and Submit Your Form
Log in using your JAMB number and the new password. Go to "My Application", fill in your O'Level grades, upload a clean passport photograph, and click "Submit" to permanently lock your application.
Mandatory Physical Screening
Take note: OAU will conduct physical screenings on campus this year. There are no remote or virtual exams.
Log back in on August 24, 2026, to print your Official Screening Schedule Slip, which will show your exact exam date, time, and venue hall on campus. Missing your allocated time slot means immediate forfeiture of your screening right.

- Zero Forgery Tolerance: Uploading fake O'Level results or false JAMB details results in automatic disqualification or instant expulsion if discovered later.
- No Admission Agents: OAU does not work with third-party agents. Never pay anyone promising a guaranteed admission list. Everything is strictly performance-based.
