PAMO University of Medical Sciences Commences 2026/2027 Post-UTME Registration
The management of PAMO University of Medical Sciences (PUMS), Port Harcourt, Nigeria’s first private university dedicated exclusively to medical and health sciences, hereby announces the commencement of its Post-UTME registration exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The institution stated that the exercise is in line with the guidelines of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and its internal admission standards aimed at admitting highly qualified and committed candidates into its various medical and health science programmes.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants are expected to meet the following conditions:
Candidates must have scored a minimum of 170 and above in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). However, candidates seeking admission into the *Medicine and Surgery (MBBS)* programme are advised that admission into the programme is highly competitive, with expected performance thresholds significantly above the minimum benchmark.
All applicants must have selected PAMO University of Medical Sciences as their first-choice institution in the UTME. Candidates who did not initially select the institution are required to process a change of institution through the JAMB portal before applying.
In addition, candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or equivalent examinations. Applicants are also required to ensure that their O’Level results are duly uploaded on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
