PETER UNIVERSITY GETS NUC APPROVAL FOR MLS, RADIOGRAPHY & 9 OTHER ACADEMIC PROGRAMMES
Peter University, Achina/Onneh, has received approval from the National Universities Commission (NUC) to commence admissions into the following programmes:
- Medical Laboratory Science
- Radiography
- Physiotherapy
- Human Anatomy
- Physiology
- Data Science
- Artificial Intelligence
- Social Work
- Psychology
- Public Administration
- Politics, Philosophy and Economics (PPE)
The approval follows the successful resource verification exercise conducted by the Commission, confirming that the University has met the required academic and infrastructural standards for the programmes.
Reacting to the approval, the Vice-Chancellor, Rev. Fr. Prof. Chukwuemenam Umezinwa, described the development as another milestone in the University's commitment to expanding access to quality education and producing highly skilled professionals.
Prospective students should rush to the website @ www.puni.edu.ng and apply for admission into the newly approved programmes as the University's 2026/2027 admission exercise is ongoing.
