PRINCE ABUBAKAR AUDU UNIVERSITY (PAAU) ROLLS OUT SECOND SEMESTER EXAM CODES & CONDUCTS, ISSUES TOTAL BAN ON SIGNING-OUT CELEBRATIONS
The Management of Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU), Anyigba, has rolled out stringent new guidelines for student conduct, highlighted by a total ban on all final-year sign-out celebrations.
According to an internal memorandum issued by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Prof. A.S. Ige, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Usman Salisu Ogbo, has established a new "Examination Monitoring & Security Committee" (EMSC).
This committee will be actively visiting all faculties to enforce the new directives and monitor the upcoming exams.
To ensure compliance and a smooth examination period, all PAAU students must strictly adhere to the following directives:
Total Ban on Celebrations: The State Government and University Management have completely banned all forms of celebrations both inside and outside the campus.
Final year students are strictly prohibited from wearing white T-shirts for "signing out," hosting parties, or wining and dining in any hotels across Anyigba town.
Restricted Exam Materials: Students are only permitted to enter the examination halls with their laminated exam dockets. All extraneous materials are banned.
No Smart Devices: All smart devices and accessories are prohibited from the exam halls. This includes phones, smartwatches, bags, specialized pens, and smart buttons.
Mandatory Early Arrival: Students must arrive at their designated examination venues at least 30 minutes before the start time to undergo thorough security checks.
Strict Dress Code: All students must be dressed properly in accordance with the established University dress code before being granted entry into the exam halls.
Vehicles Banned: Students are instructed to leave their cars and motorcycles parked at home until further notice.
The Chairman of the EMSC, Prof. Ige, firmly warned that any violations of these new guidelines will attract severe disciplinary sanctions.
All Deans and Heads of Departments have been tasked with ensuring complete compliance across their respective faculties.
Students are advised to adequately prepare for their exams and govern themselves accordingly to avoid facing disciplinary panels.
