Registration Notice: Payment of School Fees and Course Enrollment for 2025/2026 Session
Share

This is to formally notify all newly admitted UTME and Direct Entry students who have successfully completed their screening for the 2025/2026 Academic Session that the portal for school fees payment and course registration is now active. Following the successful screening exercise, the university management has approved the commencement of registration activities effective Thursday, 23rd January 2026. All fresh students are expected to complete their financial and academic registration within the stipulated timeframe to secure their admission status.

Portal Login and Biodata Update
To begin the process, students must log in to the official university Post-UTME application portal using their unique credentials, which typically include their JAMB Registration Number and Surname. The first critical task is to update the student biodata profile. It is essential to ensure that all information—including contact details, next of kin, and residential address—is accurate, as these details form the basis of official student records and the production of student ID cards.

Fee Payment and Transaction ID Generation
After updating the biodata, students should navigate to the payment section of the dashboard to generate a unique Transaction ID. This ID is mandatory for tracking the transaction and ensuring the payment is credited to the correct student account. Payments can be completed through multiple channels, including online options using a valid Debit/Credit card or by printing a payment invoice to pay at any designated commercial bank.

Course Registration and Finalization
Once the school fee payment is verified by the system, the Course Registration module will become accessible. Students are advised to consult their Departmental Handbook or Academic Adviser to confirm the list of core and elective courses required for the first semester. After selecting the appropriate courses, students must finalize or submit their registration to generate the official Course Registration Slip, which serves as proof of academic enrollment.

Important Guidelines for Students
Students are strongly advised to print and maintain multiple physical copies of their school fees e-receipt and registration slips, as these documents are required during final departmental clearance. Registration must be completed strictly through the official portal to be considered valid. In the event of technical difficulties during the biodata update or payment process, students should contact the University ICT or MIS support desk immediately for assistance. https://umyu.edu.ng/files/Undergraduate%20Registration%20GuidelinesNewStudents-min.pdf
