RIVERS STATE UNIVERSITY ADJUSTS 2026/2027 POST-UTME SCREENING SCHEDULE
The Management of Rivers State University (RSU) has officially announced an adjustment to the previously released timetable for the 2026/2027 Post-UTME Screening Exercise. This update has been communicated to all prospective candidates and the general public.
According to the University, the decision to reschedule the screening exercise was made in consideration of candidates currently engaged in the ongoing WAEC and NECO examinations. The adjustment is intended to ensure fairness, reduce scheduling conflicts, and allow all applicants adequate time to prepare for the screening process.
EXTENSION OF REGISTRATION DEADLINE
The University has extended the registration period for the Post-UTME exercise as follows:
- New Closing Date for Registration: Sunday, 21st June, 2026
- Previous Deadline: Sunday, 7th June, 2026
This extension provides additional time for candidates who have not yet completed their registration to do so without pressure or disadvantage.
All candidates are strongly advised to complete their registration within the newly approved timeframe, as no further extension may be granted.
RESCHEDULED SCREENING EXERCISE DATE
The Post-UTME screening exercise has also been rescheduled as follows:
- New Screening Start Date: Tuesday, 21st July, 2026
- Previous Start Date: Monday, 15th June, 2026
Candidates are advised to take note of this new date and prepare accordingly for the exercise.
The University emphasized that all other instructions and guidelines contained in the earlier advertisement remain valid and unchanged.
