The School of Public Health & Disease Control Technology, Kano, is officially inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into its various diploma programmes for the 2026/2027 Academic Session. The institution offers professional, part-time, and National Diploma (NBTE-based) tracks.

I. AVAILABLE PROGRAMMES & DURATION

All listed programmes have a duration of 2 years (4 semesters):

EHCN Professional Based Programmes

  • Diploma in Public Health Superintendent.
  • Diploma in Family Healthcare Technician.

School-Based & Part-Time Programmes

  • Diploma in Infection Prevention and Control (Part-Time).

National Diploma (NBTE Based) Programmes

  • National Diploma in Public Health Technology.
  • National Diploma in Epidemiology and Disease Control Technology.
  • National Diploma in Family Healthcare Technology.

II. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

For Professional & Part-Time Programmes

  • Credits: Minimum of 4–5 O'Level credits (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB).
  • Core Subjects: English Language, Mathematics, and Biology/Health Science.
  • Additional Info: Other relevant science subjects or a background in health sciences are considered an advantage.

For National Diploma (NBTE) Programmes

  • Credits: Minimum of five (5) O'Level credits, specifically including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
  • JAMB: Applicants must obtain admission through JAMB (Regular Admission).
  • Regularization: Candidates admitted without JAMB must complete JAMB Regularization.
