Shehu Shagari University of Education Releases Admission Form for 2025/2026 Academic Session

This is to inform all candidates who applied for admission into Shehu Shagari University of Education, Sokoto (SSUES) for the 2025/2026 academic session that there are important steps you must follow to be considered for admission.

If you made SSUES your First Choice institution and scored at least 150 in the 2025 UTME, or you applied through Direct Entry (DE), then this notice is for you. The school has announced that all candidates are required to upload their SSCE (O’level) results on the JAMB portal. Also, if you did not originally choose SSUES as your first choice, but you are now interested in studying at the university, you can still change your choice. All you need to do is go to any JAMB-accredited CBT centre, obtain a green card, and make Shehu Shagari University of Education your first choice. Once you have done that, you can proceed with the necessary steps for admission.

It is very important to note that only candidates who upload their SSCE results on the JAMB portal will be processed for admission. If you fail to upload your results, your name will not be included in the admission list, even if you meet the cut-off mark. For the 2025/2026 admission session, the approved cut-off mark for all programmes is 150, except for BSc. Ed. Computer Science, which requires a higher cut-off mark of 160.
