TARABA STATE UNIVERSITY EXTENDS 2026/2027 UTME AND DIRECT ENTRY APPLICATION DEADLINE
Taraba State University, Jalingo (TASU) has announced an extension of the deadline for the submission of online applications for admission into the 2026/2027 academic session.
The extension is applicable to both UTME and Direct Entry (DE) candidates who are seeking admission into the university.
According to a notice issued by the University Management, the deadline for the closure of the online application portal has been extended to Saturday, October 31, 2026.
NEW DEADLINE FOR TARABA STATE UNIVERSITY ADMISSION APPLICATION
Following the extension, prospective candidates now have additional time to complete their applications through the university's online admission portal.

Candidates who are yet to complete their applications are advised to make use of the extension and submit their applications before the portal closes.
O'LEVEL RESULT UPLOAD REQUIRED
Taraba State University has also reminded prospective candidates that only applicants who have uploaded their O'Level results to the JAMB portal and completed the university's online application exercise will be considered for admission.
Candidates are therefore advised to ensure that their relevant O'Level results are properly uploaded to their JAMB profiles.
Accepted O'Level results should meet the requirements for the candidate's chosen programme and institution.
CANDIDATES MUST PROVIDE ACCURATE INFORMATION
Applicants are also required to ensure that all information supplied during the online application process is accurate.
The university warned that providing false or misleading information could result in disqualification, even if the candidate has already been offered admission.
Candidates should therefore carefully review their personal details, academic qualifications and other information before submitting their applications.
